As the original Founder and Principal Photographer of PixSync (2001-Jan 2009),
Ken
Liong has since sold away the PixSync brand (only) and now restarted
his latest adventure as PIX ASIA PTE
LTD to better reflect the expanding business with focus back
on delivering great photography.
Since starting on photography back in
1993, he has served as journalist, lecturer, artist, judge
and club advisor. He is a recipient of several awards, exhibitions,
press and television appearances.
When just 19 years old, he was commissioned and sponsored by the Japan
Government to photograph the paradise islands of Okinawa.
He
lost a meeting with the Okinawa governor due to Bill Clinton, but ended up being Hillary Clinton's personal photographer
during the APEC meetings in Singapore many years later. As
part of his work in the Asia region, Ken Liong has rubbed shoulders
with many heads of states, corporate CEOs and celebrities. He is an
Active Member of the Professional Photographers Association
(Singapore).
A self-taught photographer, Ken Liong holds
a degree in computer engineering with a minor in graphics imaging. He
started with events photography, but later Ken
Liong found greater success
by moving into higher value-added areas such as industrial,
interior, architecture, etc, and also serving more diverse

When not holding a camera, Ken Liong enjoys
scrutinizing financial statements as an astute value investor with a
decade long track record. Seldom found without a book in hand, Ken
Liong is a lifelong student of
world economics, history and social sciences. Weekends and nights are
reserved for playing with his toddler sons.

photographs submitted worldwide for publication in the book THE BEST OF
PHOTOGRAPHY ANNUAL 1998 and 2001
- The only Singapore photographer to have
won an award in the ASEAN 30th Anniversary Photography Competition held
in Indonesia on Feb 1998.
- Awarded the most number of awards (total
3) ever achieved in a single attempt by any photographer at the 10th
Anniversary Discovering Singapore and The World Photo Competition. Sep
1997
- Represented Singapore in international
exhibition "Spotlight Singapore" held in Moscow, Russia, Art Centre
Khokhlovskaya Manufactura. Jun 2008
