Singapore's Leading Photographer

My Name is Lim Shiang Han

"The best images are the one that retain their strength and impact over the years, regardless of the number of the times they are viewed"

Lim Shiang Han

A physics graduate from Singapore who pursued photography as a hobby during his undergrad days and turned professional photographer after graduation, Han has been making superb images for 5 years.

Having photographed world leaders such as Singapore’s own Lee Kuan Yew to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Han is an experienced event photographer. He also has a love for food, and photographing it in mouth-watering ways! He recently won Leica’s Food Photograph of the year 2011, after beating many other established food photographers.

Making professional portraits of business leaders is another of Han’s strengths. A friendly and cheerful tall guy, Han has shot the whole spectrum from CEOs to new graduates, and has created beautiful portraits of them for annual reports, websites and publishing.

He has also recently branched into architectural photography. With his images appearing in magazines such as Dwell and Surface Asia, the quality of the photos he can produce is beyond doubt. He loves to explore new places and always has a camera on him, be it the iPhone, his Leica compact or his trusty Nikon DSLR.
